Students are expected to attend their scheduled lessons punctually and regularly.
If a student is unable to attend a lesson, advance notice is required. Please notify us 7 days in advance to reschedule the lesson, subject
to availability.
Same day cancellations for reasons other than sickness will not be
refunded.
Payment
Lesson fees will be due on the first day of each month. Payments
can be made in cash or e-Transfer.
Lessons are that cancelled on the same day or without warning will
not be refunded.
Lessons will not be conducted if fees are outstanding for more than
two consecutive months.
24 hours notice is required in the case of sickness, or lessons will
not be refunded.
Practice
Regular practice is crucial for progress. Students are encouraged and expected to practice consistently between lessons.
Recommended practice duration will be discussed based on the student's level and goals.
Materials and repertoire
Students are responsible for purchasing the necessary lesson materials, such as books and sheet music, as recommended by the instructor.
Repertoire selection will be based on the student's skill level, interests, and the instructor's guidance.
Code of conduct
Students are expected to show respect, courtesy, and professionalism towards their instructor and fellow students.
Any disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in a warning or, in severe cases, termination of lessons.
Termination and refunds
Refunds for prepaid lessons will be provided in exceptional
circumstances and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
The student has the right to terminate lessons within 48 hours
of a scheduled lesson. If not given the required notice, the
scheduled lesson will not be refunded.
